Required Experience: 2 years in this role working in a medical practice or hospital setting

The Patient Care Coordinator reports to the Director, Clinical Services and is responsible for working all aspects of providing provider and patient support for pharmacy services, including:

  • Works with providers and patients to verify drug benefits of medications
  • Works with providers and payers to provide prior authorization support for medications
  • Provides co-pay, foundation and patient assistance support
  • Calls patients to schedule medication deliveries or pick-ups
  • Accurately documents all communication with providers, patients and health plans to insure compliance
  • Maintains HIPAA compliance in accordance with regulations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Required education: High school or equivalent
  • Bi-Lingual preferred

Required Experience: At least 3 years of executive administrative experience

The Executive Administrative Assistant will work directly with the CEO and EVP Sales and Business Development in a number of areas including, but not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain calendars and meetings for executive management team
  • Keeping marketing inventory and sending out materials to the field sales team
  • Analyze and prepare reports and presentations for the executive team
  • Prepare and edit correspondences, communications, policies and procedures and other documents
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings and events
  • Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications
  • Receive and interact with incoming visitors
  • Liaise with internal staff at all levels
  • Interact with external clients
  • Coordinate project-based work
  • Supervise, coach and train lower level staff, if needed

Education and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience providing executive support at a high level
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree an advantage
